The 30th Philoxenia 2014 International Tourism Exhibition, organised by TIF-Helexpo from 13 to 16 November 2014, served as a valuable springboard for enhancing the business activities of participants. Nine out of ten exhibitors stated that their participation in the event would result in further activity for their business in the future, while six out of ten stated that through the exhibition, they achieved their information goals – both receiving information themselves and providing information to customers – and promotion goals to an excellent extent and approximately four out of ten achieved these goals to a good extent.
The fact that five out of ten hosted buyers at the event graded Philoxenia as 'excellent' is particularly encouraging for subsequent events. In fact, 100% of international trade visitors deemed the meetings held during their visit to the exhibition as fruitful.
The 30th Philoxenia was visited by 12,074 individuals, marking a 54% increase in the number of visitors compared to the last event. The attendance of trade visitors was important, as they numbered 4,718 individuals, as compared to 2,665 during the previous event (+77%). The 30th Philoxenia featured major foreign markets, such as Russia, Turkey, Bulgaria, FYROM, Egypt, Austria, Moldova, Tunisia and Indonesia.
