Hadjiemmanuil Constantine
He grew up in Limenas of Thassos, where he finished Primary School and then High School and graduated with honors from the First High School at Kavala.
 
In 1984 he graduated from the Dental Faculty of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In 1987 he moved to Thassos, since then he practices his dentist specialty.
 
In January 2011 he was elected as Mayor of Thassos, while he was reelected in May 2014. He had already served the local government from the position of councilor before the election, and was president and member of municipal committees and island unions.
 
In 2012 he graduated with honors from the Department of History and Ethnology of the Democritus University of Thrace.
 
He speaks three languages. He is a member of scientific societies and associations. He has written books for children and adults. His articles have been published in newspapers and magazines all around Greece and abroad as well.
