With a degree in Business Administration and a Ph.D. in Tourism Marketing, Dr. Dimitris Koutoulas has been working as a management and marketing consultant and as a project manager mainly in the tourism, hotel, publishing and the events industries since 1990.

His work has covered nearly every aspect of tourism planning and applied marketing ranging from market research and strategic planning to press relations and staff training. He has set up multi-million marketing campaigns and has consulted large-scale investments. He has successfully implemented projects in 31 countries over the last 28 years and he has taught and lectured at Greek, Austrian, German and South African universities.

His client list in the hotel sector comprises hotel chains, individual family-owned hotels, boutique hotels, city hotels etc. He has advised these hospitality companies in strategic planning, concept development, renovation planning, marketing, branding, growing sales in each individual department (F&B, spa etc.), restructuring, human resources and staff training, quality assessment and improvement as well as in properly handling TripAdvisor reviews.
