Journalist, Head of broadcasting “MIΧANI TOU ΧRONOU"


Christos Vassilopoulos is a journalist born in Athens. He graduated from the First Model High School in Plaka and the High School of Nea Erythrea. She studied Public and Community Health at the TEI of Athens.

He has worked on SKAI's radio and television, but also as chief editor, news director and presenter on the Central News Bulletin at MEGA and ALPHA TV Stations. He has worked with magazines, newspapers and journalism schools.

Since 2004 he has directed and presented the research program "MIXANI TOU XRONOU" and he has produced with his collaborators more than 400 documentaries screened on ALPHA TV, ERT and COSMOTE HISTORY CHANNEL. The online mixanitouxronou.gr has reached by nearly two million “readers” a month in Greece and Cyprus.

He has been awarded the Journalism Promotion Award by the Botsis Foundation, which is the highest journalism award in Greece.

He has published two books and he is a member of the Editors' Union (ESIEA).
