Leon A. Nar (1974). studied Classical literature, completed his postgraduate studies in Modern Greek Literature, Book Studies and Teaching (2000) and was awarded a PhD in Modern Literature (2007) at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In 2015, he was accepted as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Macedonia.
He has published seven books and of literary and historical content (the first of which was translated into French, and the third in English). His writings have been published in eight collective volumes and he has delivered more than 55 presentations at scientific meetings (conferences - conferences - round tables by exemplary organizers: Pedagogical Institute Bavarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Germany, Fulbright Foundation, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, University of Ioannina University Macedonia, Municipality of Thessaloniki, etc.).
He has been invited to speak at approximately 80 presentations by Greek and foreign artists and writers (35 of which are published) and has published 34 papers on topics of language, Literature and history. He has edited seven books (historical content and children's literature and has written a play entitled “I have never forgotten you,” premiering in March 2017 by the National Theatre of Northern Greece. Leon Nar is a member of the committee for the Jewish Museum of Thessaloniki, he wrote regularly in Macedonia and Ethnos newspapers and works as a professor of Greek literature at the American College "Anatolia" in Thessaloniki.
