One of the largest primary sector exhibitions in Southeastern Europe, the 12th ‘Zootechnia’ International Trade Fair on Livestock and Poultry, will be held from 2 to 5 February 2023 at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition Centre.
The return of the 12th ‘Zootechnia’ International Trade Fair on Livestock and Poultry to its regular dates, 2 to 5 February 2023, was decided by TIF-HELEXPO, in order to facilitate exhibitors and allow them time to regroup after an especially difficult period in the shadow of an unprecedented international health crisis, and also to achieve the maximum number of visitors possible at a time that is suitable and which will serve Greece’s agricultural world.
Zootechnia is one of the largest primary sector exhibition events in Southeast Europe, and it has long been the reference point in the broader region for all new developments in livestock and poultry, providing the necessary venue for B2C and B2B meetings. All major companies of the livestock and poultry sectors attend every Zootechnia.

One of the largest primary sector exhibition events in S.E. Europe, the 12th International Trade Fair on Livestock and Poultry, ‘Zootechnia’, will be held from 30 September to 3 October at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition Centre. The continuing pandemic has forced a change in the dates on which Zootechnia will be held; it was originally planned for 28-31/1/2021.

‘Zootechnia’ will be a reference point for all new developments in livestock and poultry, offering the necessary space for B2C and B2B meetings. The exhibition is the only specialised event in the food producing animal sector in Greece and the Balkans.

All major livestock-poultry enterprises will be present at ‘Zootechnia’ and they shall inform visitors on all their options for modernising and upgrading their production.
Greek and international trade visitors gave the 11th Zootechnia their “vote of confidence”, as they increased in number by 30% in comparison to the event of 2017
The interest of sector professionals was evident and attendance reflected the 11th Zootechnia’s rich content. Apart from its broad range of exhibits, it included congresses, events, and special thematic exhibitions, such as the Horse Show and the Pet Festival.

The 10th Zootechnia exceeded every expectation, as it achieved record visitor numbers, welcoming 58,743 visitors from 2 to 5 February, marking a 16.6% increase over the 50,354 visitors in 2015. During the weekend, in particular, Thessaloniki International Exhibition Centre was flooded with visitors. Given the record number of exhibitors in this year's event, with over 900 participants, the 10th Zootechnia will go down as the best ever.
